It's a pretty basic concept(and not a completely original one at that). You are responsible for building your tower up, adding stuff such as coffee houses and laundry mats, keeping those stores stocked, and making sure there's enough residents to keep the stores open. It all runs on a real time system, meaning you'll be checking in on your tower all day just to see if your businesses are ready to stock.
It has a great pixel art style that you can't help but love. Sure it's simple but that also means you can have a lot on the screen at once without a bit of slowdown. Sound wise there's not much(this is an iOS game after all) but the basic sound effects and jazzy background music all give it a great retro feel.
And I haven't even mentioned the best part: it's free! Between naming your cake studio, helping the cops find one of your citizens, and ready the hilarious bitbook(Tiny Tower's version of Facebook)post, you'll have endless fun with this gem of a game.
9/10
Oh, and stay as far away as possible from Dream Heights!
