Why Kongregate Rules

I didn't use to like online games. They were simple, boring, unoriginal, and worst of all they often contained viruses that I would fail to discover soon enough. Then I found Kongregate. This site completely destroyed my image of flash games. These games felt like real games. There are so many amazing games on this site I can't begin to start on what my favorite is. I could come up with one, but would sit back and wonder if I was right so I will skip that. Just one word is all I need to some up the site as a whole though: Awesome.

The games are so varied that the term "something for everyone" can definitely be applied. Its constantly being updated so this will soon be outdated but I'm going to go through a few of my favorite (yes I said I wouldn't but that was one this is many). 

First up is Sierra 7. I've no clue what the title means but the game is loads of fun. Its a rail shooter with great graphics and gameplay. The graphics are really what stood out the most. Its uses the tried and true black, white, and red look that was so common in horror movies back in the day. It runs great and is loads of fun, and is surprisingly long for an online game. I really recommend checking it out for the graphic salone just to see the type of stuff that this site is capable of. 

One of the games that I spent the most time on is Learn to Fly. The gameplay may not be entirely original but is definitely the best I've ever played. The goal is to launch a penguin as far as you can which earns you cash to get upgrades in standard video game fashion. It sounds simple but the super cute penguin is much more fun than whatever random object the other games have you use. Just try it out and you will be hooked. 

The last game I'm gonna mention is Upgrade Complete. The premise is you have to upgrade everything, be it adding music, getting better graphics, adding a menu, or just fixing your ship up. The actual gameplay is a rather simple Xevious style game and can get tiring but you won't stop because the idea is so great. Its extremely satisfying to finish the game and see how far its come. Everyone should look this one up. 

If you still aren't convinced then there isn't much more to do. I will mention that there is a great achievements system, chat rooms, and weekly challenges that can win you anything from straight cash to game systems all for playing games.
